In many cases, we have to reinstall Windows. But for reinstalling windows there are too many problems happen though now Windows 10 has made so much program simple. Tips 1 before reinstalling Windows

C drive is the most well-known drive that most of the operating system used to show as a system drive, and fresh windows need a fresh C drive. So to do so you have to format the C drive. But formatting C drive will erase Download, Documents, Pictures, Music, etc and apps and apps related settings from your Computer. So before going to install windows you need to take the files in a safe drive, I mean other drive like D: E: F: or flash drive like Pen-drive especially if you have SSD on your computer.



Now if you SSD and all you have 1 drive on your computer and You want to install windows on your computer then you need to take that files to a pen-drive or on a Hard-disk (HDD).

Tips 2 for reinstalling windows

Tips 2 for reinstalling windows is driver backup If you are trying to install new windows or upgraded version windows. First of all backup all drivers before starting windows, so that you can install all drivers at a time after the successful installation of the windows by simply restore them into your computer.

So these tricks won't work if you don't have a backup of your drivers and your computer unable to boot up. So my suggestion for you to backup your driver now so that you don't fall in this problem.

So to start backup you need to do:

1. Download a software called Double Driver from here.
2. No need to install just open and backup all drivers that you need after installing windows in your Computer.
3. Don't need Microsoft provided drivers.
4. After backing up all drivers move it to the safe directory. Because for installing windows you need to format C drive. Then the windows will be fresh and clean.

To restore the drivers you need to do:

1. The same process for no 1, you need the same software for the restoration of all the drivers. Download the Software.
2. Extract the zip file {To backup drivers you don't need all the file just double click on the software and you have done but for the restoration process, the software need all the file associated with the zip file.}
3. Select Restore and Locate the driver directory that you already backed up.
4. Select all the driver and wait.
5. All driver are installed on your system.

Difficulties: If you are upgrading Windows by version then it works fine, which means from Windows 10 1600 to Windows 10 1903 version. But if you are installing Windows 7 to Windows 10 then some drivers might not work because of compatibility problems. Tips 3 for Installing Windows

Now make a boot-able pen-drive to make the windows process faster than CD or DVD drive.

Now for making boot-able media all you need first is an ISO. ISO is very important for making a windows boot-able media so to all about ISO you also need some extra Post to understand ISO. You can download ISO from Microsoft sites.

Tips 4 during Installing Windows

Windows can be installed in two ways - MBR or GPT, in a way this is a partition system of a computer Hard Disk and in another way, this is a way to installing windows. Because you need to prepare your installation disk according to the partition system. And the latest windows like 7 to 10 will differ in two ways of installation. MBR is the system of partition that we are already using and GPT is the new partition system, now all the latest devices come with the GPT partition system.

The GUID Partition Table (GPT) is a standard for the layout of partition tables of a physical computer storage device, such as a hard disk drive or solid-state drive (SSD), using universally unique identifiers, which are also known as globally unique identifiers (GUIDs).

A master boot record (MBR) is a special type of boot sector at the very beginning of partitioned computer mass storage devices like fixed disks or removable drives intended for use with IBM PC-compatible systems and beyond. The concept of MBRs was publicly introduced in 1983 with PC DOS 2.0.

• GPT partition system used in a computer operating system in the UEFI BIOS mood. Forming a part of the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) standard (Unified EFI Forum-proposed replacement for the PC BIOS), it is nevertheless also used for some BIOS systems, because of the limitations of master boot record (MBR) partition tables, which use 32 bits for logical block addressing (LBA) of traditional 512-byte disk sectors.
• All modern personal computer operating systems support GPT. Some, including macOS and Microsoft Windows on the x86 architecture, support booting from GPT partitions only on systems with EFI firmware, but FreeBSD and most Linux distributions can boot from GPT partitions on systems with both legacy BIOS firmware interface and EFI.
• MBR partition system used in a computer operating system in the Legacy BIOS mood. Both x86 (32 bit) and x64 (64 bit) operating system. Almost every PC of old-time still using MBR partition system with default legacy BIOS and most PC of modern time still using MBR though have the option of UEFI system.

Which is the best for operating system installation?

In a word, the new system comes with more advantages and limitations for the past system. So I prefer the UEFI or GPT partition table. MBR or legacy BIOS creates one extra drive (system reserved) during installation on the other hand GPT create more than one partition when all the partition is important for operating system helping automatic repair of the system. So if you are using MBR with SSD I prefer to format it and make it GPT (Note - You may be lost all of the files for this conversion) So please prefer caution. Unless for now you can use which already using on your system.

Tips 5 for after installation of windows

Now if you are done with installation, you can now start installing your drivers or important software. Remember if you are upgrading your system to the newer version of windows then some of the drivers may not working properly and causing many problems for your computer. So to solve the issue please prefer using the device manufacturer website, if they available new drivers for your system requirements in your new windows (Like Windows 7 to 10 upgrade).

Otherwise, you can use the auto driver solution for your system. Compatibility mood allows you to use software that only support one specific operating system. Like you can use Windows XP software to Windows 10.
